Close to campus
The University and Federal Heights neighborhoods sit directly beside campus. Housing is largely older homes and small multiplexes — good for groups who want to walk to class.
Between downtown and campus
East Central and the 9th and 9th area offer tree-lined streets, local shops, and a mix of houses and apartments. The TRAX Red Line along 400 South connects much of this area to campus.
Newer buildings and transit
Downtown and Central City have seen new mid-rise and purpose-built student housing near light rail, often with extensive amenities.
More space, a short commute
Sugar House, southeast of campus, has parks, retail, and newer apartments. Groups there often rely on a car, bike, or bus to get to campus.
